Basically, the definition of Holistic is Incorporating the concept of Holism in theory or practice.

Another definition of Holistic is perceiving with the principles of holism in a system of therapeutics, especially. one that is considered outside the mainstream of drug oriented medicine, as naturopathy, chiropractic, homeopathy, herbology acupuncture and usually involving nutritional measures.

Holistic health - is not itself a method of treatment, but instead an approach to how treatment should be applied. A Traditional drug oriented medical philosophy treats physical symptoms, using standardized methods which are the prescription of drugs or the undertaking of surgery, while the patient is only passively involved. On the other hand, Practices emphasizing holistic health believe that they are treating the whole person. Practitioners of holistic medicine believe that a persons attitude affects their present condition, and the patient may play an active role in the healing process. We involve our patients and teach them too!
